| Jamie Lynn Blackwood grew up in the upper-class area of Oxford with his twin brother Leeland Blackwood. Their father died when they were children and they were often left in the care of a distant and elderly nanny. Being the younger of the two by four hours, Jamie was coddled by his other brother most of his life, sheltered from a lot of the darkness of the world. When they were sixteen their mother, a distant woman, hired Brent Devonshire as a body guard to keep track of them. Jamie was a studious child, though he never fared as well in his studies as his slightly older brother. When the boys were university age Jamie went to Pembroke University, where he was majoring in Psychology and minoring in history. One day, while on his way to exams, a woman stopped him and asked if he was interested in modeling. Baffled and confused, he agreed and soon found himself as the selling body for Turner dress shirts and pants. His career escalated, and when there was a casting call for the lead in an upcoming romance film, his agent urged him to audition. Jamie has been in over thirteen films, and played the lead in seven of those thirteen. In his opinion, his most shining achievement was starring in the film based off his brother's book. At the time of the fall he was in Canada with Brent and Leeland, where Lee was doing a series of lectures and signings. Jamie is a quiet, shy, introvert with anxious tendencies. At the time of the fall his body went through specific and frightening changes in which his gender shifted. He developed breasts and female reproductive organs thanks to an extra X chromosome in his genetics. He is able to bear children and no longer grows facial hair. This is something he doesn't fully understand, but accepts and copes with accordingly. As well as the gender shift, he found himself with the ability to move things with his mind, a power which gets stronger when he is near his brother, who also carries this ability. He also discovered that if more than a few hundred yards from his twin, he risks death; the two having a bond that requires them to be in contact with each other almost constantly. |
